The working section of the cross star needle resembles a regular four-pointed star. From the tip to the taper region, the working section remains parallel. All the barbs along the edges are of equal size, with each edge bearing one or two barbs.
Cross Star Needles
Star needles are designed with a four-sided working section, with barbs positioned along each edge. The additional row of barbs, compared to conventional triangular needles, enhances fiber entanglement. This improves fabric density and elasticity while preserving a smooth, even surface.
